In many applications, compressed air has become active and in processes where air comes into contact with the process it serves, the quality of that air becomes critical. High technology industries demand higher quality air. To meet the exacting standards of industry CompAir has developed an outstanding range of Oil-free machines the D and DH series. Not only are they Oil-free, but Oil-less as they contain no oil at all.

DH Series 20HP-150HP

CompAir DH Series Oil-less Rotary Screw Compressors combine 100% oil-free construction and variable speed technology to provide an energy and cost efficient oil-free solution.

Low operating temperatures and maintenance free sealed bearings eliminate the need for lubricating oil in the compressor. In addition to its oil-free distinction, CompAir DH Series is referred to as an oil-less line because it contains no oil in the compression chamber nor anywhere else in the package.

At the heart of the compressor package is a high output single screw compression element which uses water injection technology for lubrication and cooling. Simplified construction and reduced component count decrease the number of moving parts, which drastically improves reliability.

Available in both air-cooled and water-cooled options.

OSHA GRADE 'D' AIR STATEMENT
Nuvair supplied products meet CGA Grade-D specifications for Federal OSHA Grade 'D' Air. Compressor air quality standards meet or exceed OSHA 1910.134 requirements. When the Nuvair components are used in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions and recommendations, the "system" meets or exceeds federal regulations presently in force.

COMMON COMPRESSED AIR CONTAMINANTS

Carbon Monoxide
Carbon monoxide is the most toxic contaminant in compressed air. It enters the breathing air system through the air intake, or is produced by overheating of piston type compressors. The air intake must be placed away from engine exhaust or other sources of carbon monoxide.

Water/Water Vapor
Air contains moisture which is drawn into the compressor and enters the air stream as a vapor. As compressed air flows through the system, it cools, causing the vapor to condense in the face piece or helmet. Moisture combines with oil and solid contaminants to form sludge, which can clog or damage system components. Water also causes rust in pipelines, and can freeze in cold weather to block air flow.

Oil/Oil Mist
Oil is a major contaminant in systems using lubricated compressors. In reciprocating compressors, lubricating oil applied to cylinders causes small droplets by the shearing action of the piston to enter the air system as a mist. Oil mist can cause breathing discomfort, nausea and pneumonia, and create unpleasant taste and odors. Centrifugal compressors are oil free.

Hankison HF 16 series

LP Hankison HF 16 series filter packs includes three stage filtration for 20-35 CFM compressors with #8 SAE inlet fitting, on/off ball valve and #8 SAE fitting for diver hose.

Hankison HF 20 series

LP Hankison HF 20 filter packs includes three stage filtration for 20-60 CFM compressors with #10 SAE inlet fitting, on/off ball valve and #10 SAE fitting for divers hose. Recommended for: Champion R15 and Quincy 325 pumps

Hankison HF 24 series

LP Hankison HF 24 filter packs includes three stage filtration for 60-100 CFM compressors with #12 SAE inlet fitting, on/off ball valve and #12 SAE fitting for divers hose. Recommended for: Champion R30, Quincy 370 and Quincy 5120 pumps.
